Sweet & Sour Sauce

My favorite sauce for Asian dishes, especially egg rolls!



3/4 cup sugar

1/3 cup vinegar

2/3 cup water

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon ketchup

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1. Add all ingredients to a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat when it reaches desired consistency.



  1. Boy, this sounds easy! Any sounds better tasting than that pink stuff.

    • That pink stuff can put me off an entire restaurant. 😉
