Spicy Pretzels

This recipe came from our chiropractor’s mother (Dr. Tony Hicks in Bixby — he’s the best– and Regina, who’s a doll). It’s the perfect snack when you want something crunchy and salty. You can adjust the seasonings to make ’em milder or to set your tongue on fire.

1 1/2 pound bag small pretzel twists

1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 package original ranch dressing mix

3/4 cup oil

1. Mix all spices, dressing mix and oil in a jar or shaker bottle.

2. Pour pretzels into a large plastic resealable bag. Add dressing and shake well.

3. Shake every 15 minutes for two hours to coat well.
