Oven-Fried Chicken

This is one of the easiest dishes I’ve ever made. No oven -fried chicken is going to be as tasty (or greasy) as the traditional stuff, but this dish has a nice flavor, a lot fewer calories and doesn’t splatter all over your counter. And if you use Reynolds NonStick Aluminum Foil, clean-up is as easy as the dish is.

OVEN-FRIED CHICKEN

cut-up chicken pieces

oil

water

seasoned bread crumbs

1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.

2. Spray jelly roll pan wth Pam and coat with 1-2 tablespoons oil. Place in oven for five minutes.

3. Pour water into a dish large enough to hold the chicken pieces, and dump bread crumbs in a similar-size dish. Dip each chicken piece into water, then bread crumbs, coating well.

4. Place chicken pieces on baking sheet; bake 30-50 minutes until done. (Baking time depends on size of pieces. If you’re doing legs or thighs along with breasts, add to the pan after the first 15 minutes of baking.)
